I don't like how Facebook makes you choose how you know someone when you put in a 'friend request'. For most, I have selected 'Acquaintance'. But for those that I know more than as an acquaintance, but not quite a 'close friend', I am stumped on what to select.
Recently (meaning a few minutes ago), I put in a request to someone I have known for about 12 years, but I do not consider as a close friend, yet, they are far from being an acquaintance. To make things easier on myself, I selected 'close friend'.
I am not sure on the reason behind this little revamping of friend requesting someone, but I do not care for it. But as with all things in life, I will learn to adapt. I just felt a little gripe was in order.
